 Courier Express was originally founded in 1985. In July 1990, William (Bill) F. Messerly acquired ownership of the company. Bill and his sons, Jack and Jim, envisioned providing superior service at a fair market price. This simple formula along with a carefully planned expansion program has allowed the company to grow twenty-fold during the Messerly's ownership. Today, Courier Express is one of the largest courier companies in the Southeastern United States and is rapidly expanding services in the freight and warehousing industries.
